As you should know by now this entire blog is Ben running via my mobile, and it is my goal to transfer this ability to all my online proceedings. In order to so there are some interesting apps I’ve come to start using. Some are good , some bad and below I’ll tell you how I use them.

1.XE

XE is a widely recognised foreign exchange currency company and when they released their iPhone app they quite took a lot of the Market share. It lacks the beauty of all the other similar apps but it does what it says and does it extremely well. It updates immediately to the official daily exchange rate each time you use it plus it’s free.
Given that everything that happens online is in dollars and that I am in the uk, this app comes in quite handy when I’m trying to figure out how much I’ll be paying for things I use like softwares etc

2.Godaddy

Who doesn’t know godaddy? The number one domain selling company ( no idea if it’s actually no1) but you get he point , they are pretty big. It’s setup to have this app with you on the go in case you need to snap up some up domain names easily . I have this mainly because I don’t pike Market research mainly because the results are most often not promising. So instead of market research I look up if the domain with the exact keywords are available and if they’re I know then that there is a niche left untapped.

3.Wordpress

The best blogging platform when you are using your laptop but trust me there needs to be something else to use when you need to blog on the go, especially on your mobile like me. One of the things I don’t like is that you can’t actually save drafts offline when you haven’t got any internet connection and it sucks! Nevertheless I think I’ll have to develop a writing application for the iphone. ( will you buy one if I made it ? )

4.Hootsuite

I’ve tried lots of social media management apps before and I am quite happy with hootsuite. It permits me to manage and update my facebook pages , groups, twitter accounts, that checking website all in one clean app. I was surprised that the app didn’t crash due to the numerous amounts of accounts I have. So in my books this is considered a good sign :)

5.Skype

Save on your phone bills and get skype! That’s it!

6.Memeo Connect

This is one little app I discovered with lots of potential though at present it crashes quite often. Memeo connect allows you to view and edit your google docs . I find this quite useful as lots of my contact form have been built using google docs so this way I can monitor the amount of submissions wherever I am. But so fat I’m not quite satisfied with this app, given that it’s free there isn’tuch to complain about.

7.Piggie

Clean, simple and user friendly finance management app. I’m still surprised as to why this app is free! Really I think it’s one of the best things since ifart app! Okay seriously you know when you do things online right ? You can easily loose track of all your expenses. Piggie helps prevent you from doing that :)

8.Dropbox

I’m on my mobile, I haven’t got tonnes of space with me and I need to constantly work with designers and developers who also need to send heavy files my way . What do I do? I call on dropbox! Dropbox permits me to transfer and download files from any computer or device anywhere and at anytime. I think you should get this too!

9.Teamviewr

You know sometimes there are just things from your laptop which you really really need and and dropbox isn’t just doing it! This is were teamviewr steps in. Teamviewr permits you to access your computer remotely just like you were in front of t. It’s fast, easy to use and for non commercial use it’s free.

10.Tapatalk

Forums are a great way to meet like minded peeps, network and promote your products. I’ve seen lots people build , promote and Market their products entirely on forums and it’s quite easy to see why. You already have an audience interested in your product, all you need now is to pitch to them why they need to purchase your product. Now back to tapatalk! This tiny app permits you to easily access and browse tapatalk enabled forums, simple.

11.Evernote

Ever need a note of something you saw on your computer or else where? Evernote allows you to sync your notes from your laptop to your mobile this way you can easily access anything you might have jot down on your pc or your mobile.

12.Idea sketched

The best way to organise your ideas and present them is using a mind map and idea sketch makes that possible. With idea sketch you can easily create mind maps on tue go to help you organise your blog post ideas, your business plan and all. If you’re a mind mapping person like me you definitely need this one.

13.Paypal

Finally paypal! The widely used online payment method. You use this when you pay or receive payment online. Their fees man jot be the best but they are popular and lots of people use and accept them so the is little you can do about that .

Waow I’m done! It’s not easy writing such a long blog post on your mobile on a bus! And now am car sick. Who else goes to class on a Sunday morning at 7.30 ?!!

Do you think it’s possible to run a blog through Android powered cell phone. I was just thinking today about it, cause yesterday I hacked him pretty badly and got him to work what I want, instead of what Samsung wanted… I am encouraged to run my blog from cell phone, but I also have a day job, that’s linked to my computer…
Bojan recently posted..39 Chrome Extensions that I adore and that are making my life easier!

I think it’s possible and hopefully I’ll be able to do it by the end of the year. The downside is the apps which makes it possible are expensive like the analytics pro etc
